An Odd Bunch Of Leftovers 16x16 oil

Got to the store yesterday and purchased some M. Graham oil paint. So ... I had to play. This paint has walnut oil in it which I thought might be healthier to uses. It is totally juicy and wet. I only got a couple of colors, but could see a difference working into my other brands. Having some let over flowers from previous paintings and vases etc. etc. all out and sitting around, I thought another still life. I worked thicker than usual and more painterly. I didn't aim for realism or a completed painting. I will let it dry and see if I want to do anything more.
In the meantime I need to get ready for an art project with my students and have tons of paper to cut.

I've enjoyed using the M Graham paints when I can. I've found I generally like their strong colors, like phthalos or cadmiums, over other brands.

I love what you came up with in your painting, the jewel tones and color harmony make it a wonderfully vibrant piece.
