I've always loved this picture. I love everything about it--the great big white rose gently unfurrowing, the chocolate and caramel background, and the contrast of the red, white and back tube of paint.
Oh Dori, the skill it took to do this is obscured by its sweetness and intimacy. I've been scared to tackle a rose -- all those petals! -- but maybe I should. I also battle with glass, but it's so great when it works. Like thisl
