Went out to do a little plein air with my pastels. That is getting easier. You can only imagine what it would be like to dump my palette box of a zillon pastels in the grass. A good majority of them are green. So I do this carefully, very carefully. I do like the option of working in pastel on site. In many ways, I am much more comfortable working in pastel than oil. I hope that will even out.The other issue with plein air is outside temperture. It was over 100 degrees last Sunday and the shade trees were not so easy to find. I painted with my friend Kim and it made it easier to stick it out.

This turned out so well, Dori! I wish I had chosen the same view because I think your focal point works better than mine. And that path just leads you right into it.
