Crystal Cove 9x12 oil SOLD

Today was the most amazing January day. It was a day at the beach and a painting day too. With the temperatures at 80, it was not hard to believe that the cove was busy with tourist and locals.
These are old storage sheds that line the pathway that windes you down to the beach. I learned a lot today. I got an idea of what I need to do to move ahead. Now that is exciting.

This is a lovely painting, as usual. I am so jealous. It is extremely cold where I am. Last time I checked it was minus 17 degrees celcius. Brrrrr.

Nice job finishing this up! I wish I had done this view instead of the one I chose.

We missed you today. It was beautiful in Laguna. Greg did an amazing painting and mine came out well too.

You are such a busy girl! This is lovely. Call me when you need some company. Hey, are you looking for a gray pashmina? You can stop looking!

There is something really special about the light you've captured in this painting...I don't know how exactly to put it, except that it reads as light and atmosphere, not paint, if that makes sense. It has so much space in it!

Great composition, Dori! The buildings lead the eye so effectively into the picture. Love those greens too.

Hi Dori- I really like the subject matter and the colors in this painting. Is this a Plein Air painting done in a single session? Great job!
