Lovely Afternoon 12x9 oil

I feel very fortunate that I got out to paint today.  I feel this was over worked and yet I like it.  The light was in constant change and the mid morning shadows changed into early afternoon light.  I chased the light a bit and found it to be fun.  Not a real studious session...but, I was outside with a model in a lovely peaceful backyard with only the faint sounds of reality in the far distance.  I am so very grateful.

She is just lovely! I can see how you would be inspired by her wonderful costume. Beautiful!

I should be over my cold by Friday. Are you are free to paint then?

Oh, what a beautiful breathtaking painting. To work from life is the best, I just started at the life study workshop.

It's truly a great painting.

Lovely painting! You captured the serenity of the sitting. Love the soft color palette and bold strokes.
