DSFDF December Challenge 8x8 oil

Wow, this was a tough one. Beard, hat, expression, shadows and well a likeness etc etc. Glad to have it done. Goals for 2010...portraits!

Hello Dori, this is a terrific portrait, I agree with you, a lot of tough things to handle all in one portrait and you've done it all so well. Love the warm palette throughout the painting. I also really like your bold graphic still lifes; very well done!!
