SOMETHING FOR SANTA

6x6, oil on panel, $75.00

I can remember the night before Christmas and the anticipated excitement of Santa's visit from my childhood with a smile.  That excitement never changed from Christmas to Christmas.  It only grew.  As a mother I experienced this same anticipation with my boys.  They were very much the host with a plate of cookies for Santa and always carrots for his hard working reindeer.  Nothing could have prepared me for the tickle in my heart at watching them all those Christmas' ago.  The gift is that the tickle remains deep in my heart.  The gift that keeps on giving.  Thanks guys!

Lovely painting and lovely post to go with it. On top of all that- the reflections in that striped cup are so good! And then you added some polka dots...got me there!

Love the cropping on this, and the sentiment. I miss my kids being excited about Santa and Christmas, too...
