Mid Day Sunlight

Mid Day Sunlight is a 8x6 oil painting.  This little one was painted last weekend during a Peggi Kroll Roberts workshop.  We worked on values for 2 days.  Painting from gray scale to full color.  I took lots with me from this weekend and am still turning things over in my head.

So jealous you and Dana both got to go to Peggi's workshop...looks like you have walked away with a lot to digest. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow nite at Chemer's gallery demo.

I love the setting in this painting. The bright sunlight on the patio and cloth is a beautiful contrast to the shadows on the ground. The open door and dark interior look very welcoming and cool. Lovely.
