Carol Marine Workshop - Sedona

From red rocks and warm sun to
white roofs and fresh falling snow.
Great traveling artist to share the week.
Carol had lots to teach us.
From apples to oranges, she covered it all.

 Lots of demonstrations.

Limited palette!!
It was a great week. (left: me, Dana Cooper, Carol Marine, Judy Coyne, Judy Taylor)

Time to go and reflect on a wonderful week of painting.

Sedona, Arizona.

A Grand Idea

A family vacation inspired this pastel of the Grand Canyon. I was wanting to work larger. Large for me is 18" x 24", although this is not quiet that, but close. Problem with working large in pastel is the expense in framing. Pastels can't just sit out without protection, so into the portfolio it went until today. I thought it would be a good idea to share it on my blog. So it is quietly tucked away and can be seen too.
