My Baby Blue, Study #2 in Reds 6x6 original oil

I have these toys I keep hidden away in a cabinet.  They are a mix of my childhood and things that I have collected as a adult.   They are precious little gifts and it is fun to include them in my still lifes.  The apple is about trying to make an apple look like an apple.  Not as easy as one might think.

Dori! I saw your comment on another blog and thought I'd drop by. These are WONderful! You're so modest about them, but, wow, the palette is hot and reflections delish. I signed up for your email. :)

Also, ;I thought you should know that my word today for verifying this post is "flopler."

That's a challenge I've never tried, painting an apple in a glass object. Yours looks super. And the car is so very charming.
Just one question. No, opinion... don't hide your toys! vintage toy cars look really good on a bookcase in front of books. This way you can enjoy them often.
