Down In The River Bed... Again 10x10 oil

The one above is slightly more saturated and might be more accurate color.
Yesterday I got the chance to go out and paint with Dana Cooper and Kim Vanderhoek.  It was a nice day and actually got pretty warm.  In an attempt to get out of this funk I'm in I just tried to stay loose and have fun with paint.
Thanks to everyone that commented on my last post.  It was a shot in the arm and well appreciated.

I think everyone wants to go out and play with Dana and you. Wonderful painting.

Dori, your photo does not do your painting justice! Maybe it's my monitor but as nice as the photo looks, your painting is much more alive...pump up the saturation a bit?

What a great thing to go out with friends and paint. Today I went out by myself to try out my new EasyL (without feeling like a fool in front of friends in case it didn't work.) BUT painting with friends is GREAT!!
You did a great job as always.

Thanks for telling me Dana. I will try to saturate it more.

I hope you like your easyL. I have one that I love and have beat the heck out of it. It is still standing.

I completely understand the feeling of that funk, but your paintings don't show it. Glad you feel better. Maybe we just have to paint through it.
This on has a wonderful rolling, rhythmic quality that carries me right in!
