The Filling Station 8x10 oil

Another wonderful day out painting.  A number of rough areas that need to be developed, but enough information to take to another painting.  I got a little tight struggling with figures.  A new area to learn with the leadership of Dana Cooper.  Lucky me.

Wow... I want to join the Plein Air Platoon too! I need to get something together so I can. It may mean orange crates and cardboard boxes for now.

I love this one! The figures look great to me and the over effect is very soothing. Great job!

I agree, your figures look great! And the Mini Coper parked next to the restaurant is so perfect. This is wonderful!

It looks great Dori! You were able to do so much with all the activity and movement, and I agree with everyone, your figures look great!

It's a happy painting. Makes me feel as though I live in that town. Great job. I want to do Plein Air painting as soon as the weather get warmer.

In this one I really like your big shapes (tree/sky,etc.) as contrasted with the smaller, more detailed shapes (people, umbrellas). I agree with everyone, too, they don't seem to tight to me.
