"STANDOUT"

10x10, oil on 3/8 panel, $140.00
It is nearing the end of tomato season.  For a couple of weeks I just could not keep up with the production.  Most of the crop has not been very large in size.  Lots of salads of tomatoes, onion, basil, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.  Wonderfully tasty and colorful.  Some just standout as better tasting.
All have been fun and very cute for painting.

A perfect title, especially since this is quite a 'standout' of a painting! I love your rich, full-bodied color in this.

I love the composition of this painting. I like how the wood of the table creates diagonal movement across the canvas. I like how the cup is cropped. And I really like how you handled the reflections in the cup. Very nice!

You know I love reflections and this one has it all...inside and out! Terrific work, Dori!

Great piece, Dori. I love the reflection of the tomato inside the bowl.
