With a 5:00am wake up call and only one hit on the snooze, I was out the door to the tide pools to meet Kim Vanderhoek and Greg LaRock for a plein air outing. We met up at 6:30 and had a couple of hours to paint before the tide came in and it did.
Tough getting up, but overall, I loved it. I painted in oil because that set up is easier to climb down rocks and jump over pools of water. I would like to try pastels next time, now that I am familiar with the location and terrain. Just need to lighten up a little more. I am finding I can live without a lot.
